Due to reduced inventory levels and a shorter January sales month due to the Chinese Spring Festival holiday, Ford China maintained steady sales in January with 30,976 wholesale vehicles sold compared to 53,340 wholesale vehicles last year.

Strong December sales buoyed 2011 growth, with 49,238 wholesale vehicles sold, up 10 percent from 44,652 last year.
