SOUNDBITES: 2006 HARLEY-DAVIDSON F-150

Ford Motor Company and Harley-Davidson's alliance was forged five-years ago and they have been producing this one-of-kind custom cool product ever since. These two century old companies have done it again by producing the limited-edition 2006 Ford Harley-Davidson. Steve Lyons, President of Ford division says it's sure to turn alot of heads at this years North American International Auto Show.

Cut# 1:

 

 "Harley Davidson and Ford have had a great relationship since 1999, so a full five years, and this is the seventh different version of that truck, between light duties and heavy duties." :12 sec.

According to Lyons, the 2006 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 SuperCab, produced in Michigan at Ford's Dearborn Truck plant, is a great example of cross-marketing brands.

The Menacing Monotone Black exterior boasts 22-inch polished forged aluminum wheels with a unique split 5-spoke design, while the interior features high-gloss Piano Black detail, rich black aniline leather seating surfaces and lots of chrome.

"I think over the years as we refine the package looked at the trim, what you have today coming out on the new Harley Davidson F-150 is really probably the best we've ever seen in terms of the touch's and the look and how well they made up with Harley Davidson." :15 sec.

According to Steve Lyons, the powertrain is going to very consistant with there other F-150 models, but will give customers a first for any F-150 and that's a choice of 4x2 or all-wheel drive capability.

Ford plans to build up to 10,000 of the 2006 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 SuperCab limited edition trucks for sale throughout North America.
