K.R. Kent
Title: Vice Chairman and CFO, Ford Motor Credit Company
K.R. Kent is vice chairman and chief financial officer, Ford Motor Credit Company, responsible for the financial planning, analysis and accounting operations of Ford Motor Credit. He works closely with treasury on all funding and liquidity initiatives and maintains relationships with financial analysts and rating agencies.
Previously, Kent was assistant treasurer of Ford Motor Company, a position he held from January 2005 until assuming his current duties in March 2006.
Kent joined Ford Motor Company in 1987 and served in a variety of financial positions in product development and vehicle operations in North America and in the corporate controller's office. His international assignments include serving as Mazda's managing director of corporate planning in Japan and as controller for product development with Ford in Europe.
Kent holds a bachelor's degree in business analysis from Indiana University and a master's degree in business administration from the Ohio State University
