For Ford
Focus owners, there’s now a place to race
safely,
legally and, most importantly, fast. Earlier this
year,
the Ford Racing Performance Group (FRPG)
partnered with
the National Auto Sports Association
(NASA) to create
the Ford Focus Spec class for the
2006 season. Regions
holding races include the Mid-
Atlantic, Northeast,
Florida, Ohio/Indiana, Southeast,
Midwest, Texas, Rocky
Mountain, Arizona, Northern
California and Southern
California.

Responding
to the changing demographics of today’s driving population,
Ford Motor Company is researching advanced, next-generation,
safety belt technologies that could help further reduce the
number of annual vehicle fatalities. One of Ford’s possible
next-generation safety belts incorporates a four-point “belt
and suspenders” design in lieu of the familiar three-point
safety belt.

The men and women
of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and Seattle Grace Hospital suit up
and show their passion for Ford’s Warriors in Pink clothing in
a series of ads debuting September 4. Because breast cancer
affects everyone, both men and women from Grey’s Anatomy
appear in the ads including Derek Shepherd, Preston Burke,
George O’Malley, Alex Karev, Richard Webber, Callie Torres,
Cristina Yang, Miranda Bailey and Addison Shepherd. |

| An accomplished artist and the chief designer of the
Ford GT, Camillo Pardo creates an original work of art to
commemorate the Ford GT and Shelby GT500 Mustang. The
15-by-30-foot mural will be displayed outside the Conference
and Event Center across from the Henry Ford in Dearborn,
Mich., and will serve as the cover of Winding Road, a monthly
digital magazine for car enthusiasts. Click on the image at
