DETAILS:
It may be unusual to deem a 21-year-old "experienced," but that's exactly how best to describe Jane T.'s online celebrity. Jane is a "lifecaster" who turns on her web cam, broadcasts her day's events on Justin.tv and lets the entire world watch as things unfold. It was actually Jane's community manager at Justin.tv who urged her to sign up for the Fiesta Movement. As they say, the rest is history…
As a student and part-time Starbucks employee, travel opportunities don't come into Jane's life as often as she'd like – which is why a trip to agent training in Seattle to get a first peek at her Fiesta was a highlight of her first days as a Fiesta agent. While she was one of the last agents to get their Fiesta, she has certainly done her best to make up for lost time.
Not only does she drive her "Green Machine" to work every day, she undertook a "Fast Food Nation" mission, during which she purchased one of every item on a local Chick-fil-A menu and then gave it all away. The mission wasn't without hiccup – the original form of payment did not go through, but as a dedicated agent of the Fiesta Movement Jane and her apprentices found a way to deliver the food as planned. They found a parking lot and made signs that read "Free Food." People began flocking, not only to eat the Chick-fil-A, but to also see the Fiesta.
Next up for Jane is a technology-themed mission. She has just received a brand-new "Kindle" – a device that lets you download and read books. She'll be taking it – and her Fiesta—to a local YMCA to show kids how to use it. Further on down the road, Jane may have a potential appearance at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
QUOTES:
"I can't drive anywhere without at least 4 or 5 people checking out my Fiesta. I've been told its 'cute' and 'sexy.' People love the voice control feature and always ask me to test it for them."
– Jane,
Fiesta Movement agent
