Maybe you want a Mustang in black with a white stripe. Or are hood scoops and decals your idea of the perfect muscle car? On the Mustang customizer site, enthusiasts can do just that – create the 2010 Ford Mustang of their dreams. By choosing parts, changing colors and selecting interior environments, site visitors can interactively design a Mustang, and have fun doing so. There's even a "community" customizer section where four people can work on one Mustang at the same time, while chatting in real time about style preferences. more...

Say hello to the digital age of marketing research
Car designers used to scribble on sketch pads to create vehicle designs. And it wasn't unheard of that a scrap of restaurant napkin could be turned into a canvas for these designers. When it came time for Ford researchers to conduct market research, physical models built from clay needed to be shipped from test market to test market. Well, not any more. Today, designers and digital sculptors work together with advanced modeling software, offering detailed 360-degree looks at every angle, line and curve of a vehicle of the future. Country music superstar Toby Keith is Indy-bound, will headline FFA convention
The 82nd National FFA Convention is kicking off in a big way – with a performance by country music superstar Toby Keith on behalf of Ford Trucks. Ford has a long history with the FFA organization and has donated more than $5.5 million to FFA members over the past 13 years. Toby Keith is sure to keep the stadium of 55,000 FFA members rocking when he takes the stage Oct. 21. Separately, Toby Keith and Ford are teaming up to invite music lovers to enter America's Toughest Sweepstakes to win a 2010 Ford F-150 and a private backyard concert for 100 people next summer. more...
