Ford Fusion earns Autoweek's highest honor

Just days after being revealed to the world, the new Ford Fusion was already bringing home awards. The Autoweek editorial staff chose Fusion for its Best in Show award at the North American International Auto Show. The selection is based on one compelling measurement – the car people will remember most five years from now. Fusion brings alive the next generation of more expressive vehicles from Ford. It is the first sedan to offer gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions – each expected to deliver top fuel economy and an engaging driving experience.

Ford researches wellness in the car, debuts access to iHeartRadio app

Ford has entered into an alliance to research technology to help people monitor and maintain health and wellness while on the move. A prototype system developed by BlueMetal Architects leverages Ford SYNC® technology, Microsoft HealthVault, Windows Azure and the interactive services Healthrageous provides in conjunction with compatible biometric measurement devices. Additionally, Ford will be the first automaker to give drivers easy in-car access to the popular iHeartRadio app using voice control through SYNC® AppLink™. iHeartRadio delivers more than 800 of the nation's most popular live broadcast and digital-only stations, plus user-created custom stations – all in one fully integrated service.

Ford F-150, Mustang Boss 302 snag Lifestyle Awards from Cars.com

Ford has a car to fit just about every consumer's way of life, and the Lifestyle Awards handed out by Cars.com prove they are spot on. Cars.com selected Mustang Boss 302 for Play Car of the Year because the Mustang's blend of raw power and handling prowess "have been relentlessly honed in the Boss 302, and we're suitably impressed."
