Bradley M. Gayton
Title: Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel
Bradley M. Gayton added the role of corporate secretary to his duties as assistant general counsel on April 1, 2012. In this position, Gayton assumed direct responsibility as secretary to the Board of Directors and for related legal matters such as SEC filings and compliance, proxy statement and annual meeting matters and support of Ford's Treasury operations. He retained responsibility for legal matters for Canada, Mexico and South America and reports directly to David Leitch, group vice president and general counsel.
Prior to this appointment, Gayton served as assistant general counsel and assistant corporate secretary since January 2011.
Gayton joined Ford in 1991 as a staff attorney. He has held positions of increasing responsibility including serving as Ford’s director of Global Trade, Taxation and Customs, Assistant Tax Officer and director of Legal Affairs – Canada, Mexico and South America.
Gayton holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
