Focus ST speeds up with 'overboost' engine The new Ford Focus ST has a turbocharged engine with an "overboost" feature that extends peak torque for up to 15 seconds. Just like the turbo-boost function in a video racing game, the overboost will make it easier for Focus ST drivers to pass other cars.
