Ford Announces Call For Entries for the 12th Annual Henry Ford Awards

MANILA, Philippines, 22 August, 2012 – Ford Philippines is now accepting nominations for the 12th Annual Henry Ford Awards (HFA), the country’s premier awards for excellence in automotive journalism.

The annual Henry Ford Awards recognizes the critical roles that journalists play in both chronicling and driving the automotive industry’s evolution, and remain unparalleled in their efforts to identify excellence in print, broadcast and online media.

“We’re proud to be continuing our support for excellence in automotive journalism through the annual Henry Ford Awards, now in its twelfth year,” said Randy Krieger, president, Ford Group Philippines. “The recognition that we aim to give Philippine journalists is well deserved, as they are a key part of both promoting and contributing to the success of the automotive industry.”

Ford has added two new categories to the Awards this year: Smart Technology Feature Story, which focuses on automotive technology and innovation; and the Go Further Story, which highlights Ford’s commitment to going further by offering world-class vehicles and services to its customers.
