Teen driving deaths on the rise; parents can help reverse trend Traffic fatalities are the leading cause of death for American teens. In recent weeks, a number of crashes involving teen drivers have led to more than a dozen teenagers tragically losing their lives. Parents can help reverse that trend – research done for Ford's Driving Skills for Life program shows teens tend to emulate how their parents drive.

Ford's award-winning diversity program surpasses goals Ford's Supplier Diversity Development program aims to source at least 10 percent of U.S. purchases from minority, women and veteran-owned businesses annually. In 2012 the automaker exceeded that goal, purchasing $5.7 billion in goods and services from minority-owned suppliers and $1.2 billion in goods and services from women-owned businesses.

Ford volunteers spring into action The Ford Volunteer Corps is on the job all over southeast Michigan. On a recent Ford Accelerated Action Day, Ford employees assembled into MODEL Teams in Arizona, California, South Carolina, Washington and the District of Columbia for a day of community service benefiting families and children.
