Richard A. Manoogian

Richard A. Manoogian, chairman, CEO and director of Masco Corporation, was elected to the Ford Motor Company Board of Directors on July 12, 2001. Mr. Manoogian joined Masco in 1958. In 1964, he became Vice President and a member of the Board. He was named president of Masco in 1968 and chairman in 1985. Mr. Manoogian serves as director of Bank One Corporation, Detroit Renaissance, The American Business Conference, Metaldyne and MSX International. He is also active in numerous cultural and educational organizations including:

In addition, Governor John Engler (Michigan) recently appointed Mr. Manoogian to the Mackinac Island State Park Commission. Mr. Manoogian is also a member of the Chief Executives Organization (YPO), Yale Alumni Association, The American Federation of Arts, American Association of Museums, Museum Trustees Association and many other charitable and civic groups. Mr. Manoogian received a bachelor of arts degree in Economics from Yale University.
