Art began racing in 1996, driving vintage production and open wheel racecars. In his seven-year career, he has won over 60% of all races entered. He has also finished in the top three an amazing 93% of the time. Along the way, he has achieved multiple pole positions, track records and driving awards racing front engine, mid-engine and rear engine cars. In 2001, Art was invited to drive the #62 E-Type for Donovan Motorcar Services. His first time racing the car, and his first time at Road America, Art bested a 60-car field to claim the victory. He then teamed with his father, Bob Hebert, to win the endurance race with Art’s dramatic last lap pass for the lead in the rain. Since then, Art has won four of five races with the E-Type, finishing second in class only once, behind Bob in a 1-2 Jaguar Select Edition triumph at California Speedway in 2003.
