COLOGNE, Germany, May 9, 2012 – Ford is announcing a new interior styling pack for the top-of-the-range Ka Titanium+.
The Ka Titanium+ introduces the option of a new High Gloss Black interior styling package in addition to the Pearl White colour scheme. It also is available to order with a new premium black and grey colour seat combination called Syracuse and Fairland. Standard features include leather steering wheel, chrome door handles and chrome tail pipe.
“Ford has delivered an extremely high standard of quality with Ka Titanium+ which goes beyond city car expectations,” said Gaetano Thorel, vice president, Marketing, Ford of Europe. “The new High Gloss Black Interior reinforces that quality and extends an even greater range of choice to our customers.”
Further personalisation options extend to the instrument cluster, centre console, gear lever surround, gear knob and gaiter, interior door handle surrounds, accessory holder and steering wheel bezel.
Customers also have the alternative option of specifying a leather pack for the Ka Titanium+, which extends the high quality material to the seats, door panels and hand brake.
Standard equipment on the Ka Titanium+ includes 15-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, privacy glass, manual air-conditioning and advanced music pack featuring radio, MP3-compatible CD player, auxiliary connector, subwoofer, amplifier and six speakers. Heated seats and a heated front windscreen are also available.
The Ford Ka range consists of the Titanium+ and Titanium, Trend+ and Trend, as well as the Metal Ka, Grand Prix II and Collection editions. Ka is available with a choice of economical engines: 69PS 1.2-litre Duratec petrol delivers 115g/km CO2 emissions; 75PS 1.3-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel delivers 109g/km CO2 emissions. Both are equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and Auto StartStop.
The Ford Ka Titanium+ with the High Gloss Black Interior will be available this summer.
