    What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication." It is a way for us to deliver Ford-related headlines to you. There are two ways to receive an RSS feed: via a personal RSS aggregator or on a website. Subscribe once, and you will automatically begin receiving Ford news headlines.

If you are an individual and would like to begin receiving Ford headlines on your personal computer, you first need to download and install an RSS aggregate reader. For more information on which RSS reader is right for your computer and operating system, type "RSS reader" into an internet search engine. After you have an RSS reader, you need to subscribe to the feed. You can do this by clicking the orange button above and noting the URL; this is the XML address that you need to enter into your reader to subscribe.

Putting an RSS feed onto a website will allow your website visitors get instant and timely Ford-related news. To put an RSS feed onto a website, you need to parse the XML script into a language such as javascript or HTML, depending on what software is compatible with your server. For more information on parsing XML files and how to convert XML RSS feeds, enter "RSS2HTML" or "RSS parser" into an internet search engine.
