The Explorer Sport Trac concept features a performance-tuned 4.6-liter Triton™ V-8. The inclusion of a V-8 addresses current Explorer Sport Trac owners' requests for more towing performance.
Production Explorer Sport Tracs have relied on an excellent V-6, and Ford expects that future powertrain combinations will continue to offer buyers options for power with pleasing fuel economy.
