Birgit A. Behrendt is executive director, Global Programs and the Americas Purchasing, effective July 1, 2010. In this role, she oversees all Purchasing activities for Ford’s North and South America operations. Behrendt also works closely with Product Development on all global vehicle and powertrain programs to ensure Ford capitalizes on its global scale to deliver competitive costs, technology, fuel efficiency and quality in a full lineup of vehicles that consumers want and value. -

Burt R. Jordan is Executive Director, Global Vehicle and Powertrain Purchasing, a position to which he was appointed July 1, 2010. In this role, Jordan oversees procurement of $60 billion annually of production and powertrain parts and commodities for Ford Motor Company's operations worldwide. He is responsible for ensuring that the organization meets all of its quality, cost and delivery targets. Jordan also oversees Supplier Diversity Development and Global Supply Risk Management. -

Ford in India Employees to Join 12,000 Volunteers in 20 Countries to Spread Joy During the Global Week of Caring
NEW DELHI, India, September 7, 2012 – Around 1,000 Ford in India volunteers are set to join an army of 12,000 Ford employees, retirees and dealers to conduct hundreds of community projects in six continents for the seventh annual Ford Global Week of Caring (GWC). Engaging in seven or more activities in seven days in Chennai, Coimbatore, Sanand and Delhi, the GWC will see volunteers from Ford India and Ford’s Global Business Services (comprised of Ford Business Services Center and Ford Technology Services India) work for betterment of the communities around Ford’s operation in India making the spirit of Go Further come alive.
