Dr Christian Weingärtner has been Vice President Europe Business Transformation since January 2025.
Since January 1st, 2022, Weingärtner has held the position of Managing Director for Ford Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as the position of Managing Director Marketing and Sales at Ford-Werke GmbH since February 1st, 2022. Weingärtner was Managing Director & Partner at the Boston Consulting Group before taking on the position of Director Strategy, Autonomous Vehicles & Mobility at Ford Europe in 2020.
Weingärtner studied technology and management-oriented business administration at the Technical University of Munich. He holds a diploma in technology and management and a doctorate in economics. Weingärtner was born in Landshut in 1982, and lives in Munich with his partner and daughter.
