Phil Adcock is IT Director, Ford of Europe effective January 2021.

In this role Adcock is responsible for leading the IT delivery teams in Ford of Europe and the Global Staffs IT functions including HR, Internal IT and Ford Land.

Adcock joined Ford in 1991 and has served in a variety of positions inside and outside of IT. Prior to his current role, Phil was the IT Director for Ford Credit Europe (FCE) and also held responsibility for the Global IT Infrastructure of Ford Credit, most recently leading the IT response to Covid home working. Other prior roles included responsibility for Marketing, Sales and Service IT for Ford of Europe as well as being IT Director for China.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Coventry University (UK) and has been a qualified IT Auditor. More recently at FCE , Phil has held a Senior Management Function regulated by the Bank of England. 

He was born in 1969 and is married with two children.
