Dean Stoneley is president and CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited, appointed to the position in February 2019. He leads Ford of Canada's operations across the country, including a national headquarters, three regional offices, three vehicle assembly and engine manufacturing plants, and two parts distribution centres, two R&D sites, and three Connectivity and Innovation centres.
Ford employs approximately 8,000 people in Canada, while an additional 18,000 people are employed in the more than 400 Ford and Ford-Lincoln dealerships across the country.
During his 27 years at Ford, Stoneley has held a variety of global leadership roles in sales and marketing in Canada, United States, South Africa and Asia Pacific.
Prior to his current position, Stoneley was vice president and director of marketing for Changan Ford’s National Dealer Sales Distribution joint venture in China. Stoneley has previously served as vice president marketing and vice president sales for Ford Asia Pacific region based in Shanghai, China.
Stoneley attended the University of Western Ontario and holds an honours degree in Political Science. He is married with three children and enjoys music, photography, fine arts and is a car and motorcycle enthusiast.
