Dark Horse R Drivers to Take on the Ultimate Race at the 2025 Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational

 

  • An exciting new round in 2025 for Mustang Challenge to be held at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe in support of the 24 Hours of Le Mans

LE MANS, France, June 14, 2024 As Mustang GT3 prepares to take on the pinnacle of world endurance racing – the 24 Hours of Le Mans – Ford Performance today announced Mustang Challenge competitors will next year be able to write their own Le Mans histories.

The 2025 Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational is a new, optional round of the 2025 IMSA Mustang Challenge schedule. This exclusive event will be held at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe, and all Mustang Challenge competitors and qualified owners of the Mustang Dark Horse R will be invited to join this exceptional racing experience.

The Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational promises to be a highlight of the racing season, offering a unique opportunity for qualified individuals and teams to compete on one of the world's most iconic tracks. In addition, a limited number of additional Mustang Dark Horse R race cars will be allocated and sold to interested and qualified racers who wish to join the field, to ensure a competitive and thrilling race.

  • Open Participation: The event is open to all Mustang Challenge competitors, teams, and Mustang Dark Horse R owners who meet the qualification criteria
  • Vehicle Allocation: A limited number of additional Mustang Dark Horse R vehicles will be made available to qualified participants for the Le Mans round
