Ford Pro today signalled a step change for European commercial vehicle fleet productivity with the roll-out of its innovative, digital solutions designed to increase uptime and lower operating costs.

Ford Pro is launching an integrated charging solution designed to help European customers find the best charging strategy for their electric vehicle fleets, install charging infrastructure, and optimise the vehicle charging process.

The all-electric Ford E-Transit’s comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems has earned the commercial vehicle a Gold Award from independent vehicle safety authority Euro NCAP.

New data released today by Ford reveals the productivity boosting benefits that the FORDLiive connected uptime system is delivering for the company’s commercial vehicle customers. Dedicated new FORDLiive Centres – a key element of the uptime system – are already providing valuable support to the Transit Centre dealer network, helping to minimise the time spent off road for customer vehicles.

Ford Pro, a separate global vehicle services and distribution business within Ford, today announced a group of senior executives to lead the company’s efforts to develop and deliver work-ready products and services for commercial and government customers.

Ford is significantly boosting the productivity of its Transit commercial vehicle with a major technology and specification upgrade that introduces new driver assistance and connectivity features, while also standardising key active safety technologies on volume-selling models.
