COLOGNE, Germany, Oct. 16, 2016 – Ford Motor Company today released a dramatic new short film for the new Ford Edge SUV – featuring celebrated film star Mads Mikkelsen, who also appears in new movie Doctor Strange and the forthcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Conceived by GTB (Ford’s WPP global agency) and produced for Ford by RSA Films, Le Fantôme shows Mikkelsen in pursuit of a couple starting a new life under witness protection – but who drive the distinctive Edge. Shot on location in Croatia, the film also features Barbara Steele, who found fame in 1960’s gothic horror movies. The director is Jake Scott, whose credits include Welcome to the Rileys, and music videos for The Rolling Stones, Radiohead and R.E.M.
