Team Fordzilla Goes Live with TFZ:TV Twitch Show

Team Fordzilla is launching TFZ:TV; a live monthly show on Twitch aimed at the gaming community

Team Fordzilla continues to stamp its unique mark in the esports world with its latest announcement of a monthly TV show on live-streaming platform Twitch.

The live one-hour show, called TFZ:TV, will be hosted by Team Fordzilla’s German captain Angelo Bülow and be aired once a month on a Friday evening. He’ll be regularly joined by the team’s other captains from France, Italy, Spain and the UK.

As well as sim-racing updates from around Europe, TFZ:TV will feature interviews with key figures in the gaming community, hints, tips and reviews of games and equipment, and include some sections following Team Fordzilla on its Ford adventures. For example, in the first episode the Spanish team head to the Pyrenees mountains to experience the all-wheel drive Kuga FHEV, the full-electric Mustang Mach-E and the one-of-a-kind Ranger Raptor.

TFZ:TV will also allow for fan interaction during the show as it aims to give a fun, informative and genuine dose of entertainment to some of the 22.7 million daily active viewers Twitch has from across the globe.

The first episode of TFZ:TV is live this Friday 2nd April at 20.00 CET and can be viewed here: www.twitch.tv/teamfordzilla.

  • Jose (Spain) – Jose looks after the Pro and Elite division, seaching for new talent and helping develop their skills. When he’s not gaming, he’s planning where to travel to next.
  • Theo (UK) – no stranger to being on-screen, Theo has a love for racing games and fast cars that feature heavily on his own Blackpanthaa video channel, which has more than 1 million subscribers.

Team Fordzilla

Team Fordzilla launched at gamescom in 2019 going on to find teams of drivers in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK, with a team captain selected for each. As well as competing in regional and European sim-racing championships, Team Fordzilla also hosted its own Fordzilla Cup competition in 2020.

Revealed at gamescom 2020 was the Team Fordzilla P1 race car, which was the first virtual racer to be designed in collaboration with gamers and an automaker’s designers. If that wasn’t unique enough, the team revealed a full-scale, real-world model of the vehicle just three months later.

Quotes

“Roughly 70 per cent of TFZ:TV will focus on gaming and sim-racing culture, news from Team Fordzilla and the wider world of gaming and esports. We’ll also engage that community with Ford where it’s credible and relevant, and most of all, fun. We really want to portray Ford as a modern, vibrant, energetic and exciting brand using all the cues and features that people love on Twitch.”
