COLOGNE, Germany, March 5, 2026 – Ford today announced new BlueCruise Editions of the Kuga 1 SUV and Puma 2 compact crossover.
The new additions to the Ford Collection offer customers a premium, tech-forward driving experience with the added benefit of subscription-free BlueCruise, celebrating the availability of the technology on two of the automaker’s best-selling vehicles.
Following the successful European debut of BlueCruise 3 on the Mustang Mach-E 4 – the first system of its kind to receive regulatory approval in the region – Ford is now making its “hands-off, eyes-on” advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) 5 more accessible than ever.
“BlueCruise has already transformed the motorway driving experience for thousands of Ford owners around the world,” said Christian Weingaertner, general manager, passenger vehicles, Ford Europe. “By introducing these new BlueCruise Editions we are not only offering a unique look for Kuga and Puma, but also providing customers with the ultimate convenience of our game-changing hands-free highway driving technology as a standard, subscription-free feature.”
Hands-free, simplified
The Kuga and Puma BlueCruise Editions are designed to take the stress out of highway journeys.
Both models come equipped with the BlueCruise Capable Driver Assistance Pack as standard and BlueCruise functionality unlocked without a subscription requirement, so customers can enjoy “hands-off, eyes-on” driving in approved Blue Zones – which cover more than 135,000 kilometres (84,000 miles) of highways across 16 European markets 6 – straight from the showroom.
Smart design, smart tech
The new BlueCruise Editions are distinguished by unique design touches inside and out that reflect the advanced technologies within.
Exclusive Vapor Blue exterior paint is complemented by a black-painted roof and black mirror caps, with unique black-painted alloy wheels – 18-inch for Puma and 19-inch for Kuga. Inside, the theme is continued with embossed seat inserts and interior detailing in a fresh Nordic Blue.
To further enhance the ownership experience, Connected Navigation 7 is included subscription-free. The system utilises cloud-based data to provide real-time traffic updates, helping drivers to stay ahead of congestion and arrive at their destinations more efficiently.
Kuga BlueCruise Edition is available as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), full hybrid (HEV) or EcoBoost petrol with automatic transmission.
On Puma, the BlueCruise Edition is available as an EcoBoost petrol with automatic transmission and the all-electric Puma Gen-E.
Both Puma, Puma Gen-E and Kuga BlueCruise Edition models are available to order from today.
