Ford is opening the first electrified chapter in its legendary SuperVan series with the ultra-high-performance Ford Pro Electric SuperVan. The all-electric demonstrator vehicle has been developed by Ford Performance and electric motorsport experts STARD, with its stunning exterior design by the Ford Design team led by Amko Leenarts.

The full-scale prototype of Team Fordzilla's P1 – Ford's virtual racing car created in collaboration with the gamer community – was unveiled at gamescom 2021 as the ultimate racing simulator. Now, it’s being showcased at the Gamergy 21 event in Madrid, Spain with impressive new streaming capabilities.

Ford has always played a key role in computer games, helping to ensure that real-world vehicles are replicated as faithfully as possible on console and TV screens. In fact, according to the Internet Game Cars Database, more Ford vehicles have appeared in video games than those of any other manufacturer.

In late 2020, Ford’s Team Fordzilla esports team unveiled a full-scale model of the P1 race car that was designed in collaboration with gamers1. Now, it’s giving people the chance to get behind the wheel and take to the virtual track by turning it into the ultimate racing simulator. The P1 racer – complete with vivid new gaming-inspired livery – is powered by an HP Z4 workstation with players controlling the game via an in-built gaming steering wheel and pedals. Upgraded lighting, both front and back, pulses gently like the breath of a sleeping person when the P1 is waiting for the next race. They then come alive during race time as the rear lights synchronise with braking moments during gameplay to connect viewers outside with the action.
