Ford Passenger Car Sales Up 15% in August, Commercial Vehicle Sales Strongest in 25 Years

“The industry saw an unprecedented registration peak due to some manufacturers selling their excess Stage 6.1 stock. Ford sales increased by a very healthy 13% YoY without needing to force-register surplus stock. This should set us in a good position with free supply of the latest emissions levels and the launch of the much-acclaimed all-new Focus.”

Roelant de Waard, Vice President, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe
