Elabuga, Tatarstan and Moscow, Russia, May 14, 2013 – Ford Sollers is accelerating its plan to grow in the burgeoning Russian market by announcing today that it is building a $274 million (10 billion Russian Rouble) engine plant in Elabuga, Tatarstan, and also will manufacture and sell the new Ford EcoSport small sports utility vehicle (SUV).

As demand for utility vehicles increases around the world, the Ford Explorer is being produced from the ground up outside of the United States for the first time in the iconic SUV’s history.

GENEVA, March 5, 2013 – Ford today debuted the European production version of the all-new EcoSport at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, adding to its growing SUV line-up in Europe as part of the company’s product-led transformation.

MOSCOW, Russia, January 15, 2013 – Ford Sollers today confirmed that Ford vehicle sales in Russia increased by 11 per cent in 2012, with 130,815 units sold in total.
