The new Ford Mustang sports car, EcoSport sports utility vehicle, Ranger Black Edition pickup and Tourneo Custom people mover are on show to the European public for the first time at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Ford is showcasing the diversity of the company’s European model range at Frankfurt, from the comprehensive all-new Ford Fiesta line-up – including the Fiesta Active crossover and Fiesta ST that go on sale next year, to the exclusive Ford GT ’67 Heritage edition – celebrating the 1967 Le Mans-winning GT40 Mark IV race car. Germany is an important research, design and manufacturing centre for Ford, and is home to Fiesta, Focus, C-MAX and Grand C MAX production; Design and Product Development centres; and the company’s only Research and Advanced Engineering centre outside of the U.S.

The new Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX deliver more efficiency, practicality and refinement than ever with a new powertrain line-up and even more advanced technologies. The five-seat C-MAX and seven-seat Grand C-MAX offer Ford’s Hands-Free Liftgate, new Perpendicular Parking system and improved Active City Stop collision avoidance technology that now works at speeds of up to 50 km/h. C-MAX and Grand C-MAX also are offered with Ford’s new 1.5-litre EcoBoost and 1.5-litre TDCi engines, including a 99 g/km CO2 1.5-litre ECOnetic diesel.
