Ford’s tiny yet powerful 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine has been voted best in class at the International Engine of the Year Awards for the fifth year in a row. Judges praised the combination of drivability, performance, economy, refinement and technology that continues to set the standard.

Ford’s total vehicle sales in April in its European 20 traditional markets* were its best in the month since 2009, with passenger car sales at their highest since 2010, and commercial vehicles achieving their peak April sales since 1993.

Ford has announced an investment in Pivotal, a cloud-based software platform company headquartered in San Francisco, to further enhance its software development capabilities and deliver innovations to customers more quickly.

Ford was the UK market leader in total vehicle, car and commercial vehicle (CV) sales in April. Ford CV sales comfortably outpacing CV market sales growth.
