Sales momentum for Ford vans also continued in August, as Ford Transit Van set a monthly sales record for the fourth month in a row.

“Canadians love their Ford F-Series pickups, as our trucks continue to dominate the segment year-after-year,” said Dianne Craig, president and CEO, Ford of Canada. “With the all-new 2017 F-Series Super Duty hitting dealer showrooms and the all-new 2017 F-150 Raptor on the way, we look forward to exceeding our customer expectations.”

Lincoln posted its 12th consecutive month of sales growth, with sales up 10 per cent in August representing Lincoln’s best August sales since 1980.

“Lincoln’s commitment to craftsmanship and quality has resulted in strong growth in the luxury brand space. With Lincoln’s flagship vehicle, the all-new 2017 Lincoln Continental coming this fall, we’re excited to broaden our discerning customer base even further,” said Craig.
