SUV Lineup Buoys Ford of Canada Sales in First Quarter

  • Ford Mustang sales increase 10.4%
  • Ford SUV sales increase 15.3%
  • Ford Mustang Mach-E sales increase 55.2%
  • Ford Escape sales increase 11.0%
  • Ford Bronco Sport sales increase 62.7%
  • Ford Edge sales increase 3.2%


Lincoln

  • Lincoln sales increase 18.5%
  • Lincoln Aviator sales increase 35.8% – Best Q1 Sales on Record
  • Lincoln Corsair sales increase 13.9% – Best Q1 Sales on Record
  • Lincoln Nautilus sales increase 68.9%

 

OAKVILLE, Ont., April 1, 2022 – While the automotive industry is still facing a number of challenges putting pressure on overall sales numbers, the first quarter of 2022 saw a number of bright spots for Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited.  SUV sales for both Ford and Lincoln were up year-over-year, with both the Lincoln Aviator and Lincoln Corsair setting first quarter records.
