Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) will release its June 2016 U.S. sales results at approximately 9:15 a.m. ET Friday, July 1, 2016. At 10:00 a.m. ET, Erich Merkle, Ford U.S. sales analyst, will host a conference call for the investment community and news media to discuss the results and related market trends. He will be joined by Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service, and Emily Kolinski Morris, Ford's chief economist.
Ford Motor Company F-Series pickups posted a 9 percent gain in May, while Ford van sales reached their best May sales since 1978. The company’s total U.S. sales of 235,997 vehicles declined 6 percent versus a year ago.
Ford’s total vehicle sales in April in its European 20 traditional markets* were its best in the month since 2009, with passenger car sales at their highest since 2010, and commercial vehicles achieving their peak April sales since 1993.
Ford Motor Company’s U.S. sales increased 4 percent in April versus a year ago, with 231,316 vehicles sold. Retail sales also grew 3 percent, driving the company’s best April retail results since 2006.
