The Original 1965 Ford Mustang Press Kit and Media Drive

Following the official media introduction of the all-new 1965 Ford Mustang in the Ford Pavilion at the New York World's Fair, the journalists moved over to the Westchester Country Club for lunch and further discussion. With the official press kit in hand, the writers set off on a 750-mile drive back to the Ford Product Development Center in Dearborn, Mich. The extended trip demonstrated the Mustang's reliability and durability while also attracting crowds of onlookers to check it out.
