Proud of our Digital Product Design team at Ford Motor Company!
WardsAuto just honored the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus with a spot on its 10 Best Interior and UX winners list, in part thanks to the new Lincoln Digital Experience featuring a 48-inch panoramic display and beautifully crafted user interface design. It helps drivers keep their eyes up and out on the road, rather than down and inside the cabin.
A well-deserved round of applause to Peter Ruthenberg, Ryan Keberly, Nicolas Thetard, @Alec Struthers , Mark Miller, Michael Boyagian, Cameron Hirbodi, and many more.

It does look like a beautifully crafted user interface design, however, I’m curious how it helps drivers keep their eyes on the road. It looks like the touchscreen is a remote control for the 48” screen. The 48” screen projects the content of the touchscreen. If the driver still needs to look at the touchscreen and take their focus off the road to perform basic tasks, how is that an improvement? It seems like it would have the same level of distraction as a normal center screen display but with more screens adding to the cognitive load.

As someone deeply involved in design, I find this new technology—“transparent cement + LED film screens”—to be a fascinating leap forward in the evolution of spaces. It's exciting to see how we’re blending the physical and digital worlds in ways that go beyond mere aesthetics. For designers, architects, and brand strategists, this opens up incredible possibilities to “reimagine environments”, especially in retail.
The psychological impact of these immersive spaces is powerful. When customers step into a store that feels futuristic and engaging, they experience something memorable, which helps to create stronger emotional ties to the brand. This shift transforms shopping into an “interactive, sensory experience” that online stores just can’t replicate. It’s not just about displaying products; it’s about creating an environment where people “want to spend time”.
As retail continues to evolve, it’s clear that spaces will need to be more than functional—they need to “inspire”. And with this innovative technology, we’re seeing how architecture and design are playing pivotal roles in driving customer engagement and brand loyalty. The future is truly bright for those of us in the design world, and I’m excited to see where this revolution takes us.

Unveiling a very clever technology: Transparent cement + LED film screens. These are not just cosmetic upgrades, these are new developments that are re-imagining the retail experience by blending physical and digital worlds. This technology creates immersive environments, giving stores the opportunity to become more interactive and visually engaging. What is the psychological effect of this new aesthetic? Customers feel like they’re stepping into something innovative and memorable, which can foster stronger brand loyalty.
Creating immersive retail environments can elevate shopping into an experience that online stores simply can't match. By engaging customers' senses and emotions, retailers can make their physical locations actual destinations; it's like combining shopping with entertainment. Imagine walking into a store that feels like stepping into the future. It's inspiring to see how technology is revolutionizing the customer experience in retail and improving customer engagement.

⭐ The Future of Furniture: Versatile, Immersive, and Personalized ⭐
Furniture design is evolving to meet the demands of today’s lifestyles, with modular systems and customizable features leading the way. 👌
Thoughtfully designed elements—such as integrated storage options, versatile materials, and sleek finishes—allow for countless configurations, blending elegance with functionality to suit any space. 🛋
At Ixaria, we’ve run over 💙 500 💙 end-user interviews, and two key trends have emerged:
1️⃣ Versatility is essential; people want furniture that adapts to their lives and spaces.
2️⃣ Visualization has become a necessity. Clients increasingly want the ability to see how a piece will look in their home before stepping into a showroom.
To bridge this gap, we built our AR module, enabling customers to explore furniture virtually in their spaces, directly from their devices.
🧐 If you’re curious about how this immersive experience can transform your customer's buying journey, we’d be excited to run a free test with one of your 3D models. Connect with Alexandru or Bogdan they can help. 💪
See firsthand how AR technology can seamlessly connect your online presence with the in-store experience and do correct attribution for all your #digitalmarketing channels.
Let’s bring the future of furniture to life!

The Importance of Immersive Experiences in Marketing
Immersive experiences in marketing are increasingly important due to their ability to create deep and memorable connections between brands and consumers. Here are some key reasons why these experiences are so valuable:
1. Higher engagement and commitment
Immersive experiences allow users to interact more actively with a brand's products or services, rather than being passive receivers of advertising. These interactions increase the level of engagement as consumers feel more involved and emotionally connected.
2. Creation of lasting memories
Experiences that involve multiple senses (like virtual or augmented reality) are more memorable. When people can see, hear, and experience a brand in a more tangible way, they are more likely to remember that interaction and associate positive emotions with the brand.
3. Differentiation from the competition
In a market saturated with information and traditional advertising, immersive experiences offer a unique way to stand out. Brands that adopt these technologies or creative techniques can differentiate themselves by offering something out of the ordinary, which is appealing to consumers.
4. Creation of emotional bonds
Immersive experiences can evoke stronger emotions in consumers by immersing them in narratives or environments designed to resonate with their values, desires, or aspirations. This emotional bond can increase loyalty and foster long-term relationships with the brand.
5. Greater virality and reach on social media
Many immersive experiences are surprising or innovative enough that consumers want to share them on social media. This can significantly expand the campaign’s reach, as the experiences not only impact direct participants but also their networks.
6. Data and personalization
Immersive experiences often generate valuable data about consumer behaviors and preferences. This data can help brands further personalize their offerings and messages, optimizing their marketing strategies for future approaches.
Examples of immersive experiences in marketing:
Virtual and Augmented Reality: Allows consumers to experience products or services in virtual environments before purchasing them.
Interactive events: Trade shows, exhibitions, or product presentations that allow consumers to interact directly with the brand.
Multisensory experiences: Using light, sound, touch, and smell to create an environment that engages all senses and maximizes emotional impact.
In summary, immersive experiences create deeper and more lasting connections with consumers, leading to greater loyalty, brand recall, and competitive differentiation.
