In addition, he leads brand marketing responsibilities for all Ford commercial vehicles within each segment. As the only full-line manufacturer of commercial vehicles in Classes 1-7, Ford has the broadest lineup. Ford employs approximately 8,000 people in Canada, while an additional 18,000 people are employed in the more than 400 Ford and Ford-Lincoln dealerships across the country.
Prior to leading Canadian operations, Buzzell served as general manager for the western market area in the United States, a position he assumed in February 2015. In this role, Buzzell was responsible for leading the operations for 456 Ford and Lincoln dealers covering five major metropolitan areas – Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle and Denver – across 13 states.
Buzzell joined Ford Motor Company in 1989 and has held a variety of marketing, sales and service positions across the United States, as well as in the Caribbean and Central America, including merchandising, brand development, product marketing, franchising, sales development and dealer operations.
Buzzell has a bachelor’s degree in business from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame. Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his family and enjoys mountain biking, college football and traveling.
