Ron Cygnarowicz is vice president of Customers for Ford Smart Mobility’s transit technology solutions organization created in July 2019 through the integration of TransLoc and Journey Holding Corporation. In this role, he will oversee customer success, marketing, and sales. He also will help create the company growth plan and lead execution of that plan with his customer-focused team.
Prior to taking on this role, Cygnarowicz served as vice president of Customers at TransLoc. In that role, he was responsible for company growth including business development, marketing, policy and customer experience.
Over the years, Cygnarowicz has served in a variety of start-up organizations. He co-founded PureStart Energy, an energy supplement company in 2009 and served as CEO. He served at Pittsburgh-based start-up investment firm Hampshire Corp, where he held interim CEO, vice president and board advisory positions within several of Hampshire’s portfolio of early-stage and high growth technology companies. Notable roles include serving as CEO of Lexon Media and also the American Entrepreneur Radio Network, as well as board advisor to Talkshoe.com.
Cygnarowicz volunteers as an advisor for companies emerging from the incubators at Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill. In 2019, he was named to the “40 Under 40” list of the Triangle Business Journal.
Cygnarowicz holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Neuroscience & Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and received an executive certificate in Commercializing Technology from the Carnegie Mellon University – Tepper School of Business. He resides in Durham, North Carolina.
