The 2017 Taurus features plenty of driver-assist technology including available lane-keeping warning and lane-keeping aid; Curve Control, which automatically slows the car if it enters a curve too fast; torque vectoring control; and adaptive cruise control.
Taurus features a standard 3.5-liter V6 and available 2.0-liter EcoBoost® I-4 engine. Taurus SHO comes standard with 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. All models use a six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift®. Paddle shifters come standard with Taurus SHO. All-wheel drive is standard for Taurus SHO, and available on SEL and Limited series trim levels.
For 2017, Taurus includes SYNC® enhanced voice recognition and entertainment system with available SYNC 3 featuring an LCD touch screen with swiping and pinch-to-zoom capabilities, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, AppLink™ and 911 Assist®.
New colors available for 2017 include White Gold and Smoked Quartz Metallic Tinted Clearcoat.
