  • Mach-E put through tortuous testing paces to allow it unleash the storied spirit of Mustang with pioneering electric performance, proven for the region's unique demands.
  • The first-ever SUV to wear Ford’s unmistakable pony badge delivers quality and control having endured immense scrutiny in the Dubai summer.

Dubai, November 19, 2025 – Ahead of its highly anticipated arrival, the Mustang Mach-E, Ford’s all-electric performance SUV, has proved its Middle East credentials by completing a demanding hot weather testing regimen, ensuring its iconic freedom, performance, and character are engineered to thrive in the region's unique demands.

Introducing the spirit of the world’s best-selling sports car to the all-electric segment, the Mustang Mach-E—the first-ever SUV to wear the pony badge—is powered by a responsive, electric drivetrain, and delivers exciting performance and control.

And it’s this dynamic capability that has been put to the ultimate test in the Middle East’s most challenging environments, including a notable performance up and down the winding roads of one of the UAE’s highest mountains, Jebel Hafeet, demonstrating its agility, power, and handling even under strenuous conditions.

Designed to exhilarate and engineered to endure, the Mach-E has in fact undergone the same rigorous in-market testing as Ford’s conventional internal combustion (ICE) and hybrid engine vehicles to guarantee it meets the uncompromised standards and exceptional challenges of the Gulf's challenging climate.

Ford’s dedicated Dubai-based engineering team applied their extensive expertise, accumulated over 15 years of in-market scrutineering, to subject the Mach-E to a battery of tests, including prolonged exposure to scorching summer temperatures, intense direct sunlight, and pervasive sand and dust.

Every critical system, too, from the advanced battery thermal management and powertrain cooling to the robust air conditioning system and interior materials durability, was additionally meticulously scrutinized, with the Mach-E showcasing inherent quality and resilience throughout.

A crucial Ford hot weather test unique to Mach-E involved DC Fast charging in region’s intense summer heat, resulting in the Mustang SUV maintaining charge speeds similar to those observed in cooler ambient temperatures. The impressive performance promises that customers in the Middle East can confidently rely on efficient and consistent charging, regardless of external conditions.

The Mach-E’s cabin cooling system, too, performed exceptionally well, matching Ford’s best ICE vehicles in all conditions, guaranteeing respite from the heat for occupants at the height of summer.

“The Mustang Mach-E is more than just an electric vehicle; it’s a statement of performance and innovation, built on the legacy of an icon,” said Ravi Ravichandran, President of Ford Middle East and North Africa. “Its noteworthy performance in our extreme hot weather testing, especially the seamless DC Fast charging and crucial AC system, underscores our commitment to delivering innovative advancements tailored for our regional customers, with the Mach-E ready to electrify journeys across the Middle East, offering both exhilaration and unwavering reliability.”

The Mustang Mach-E’s impending arrival will offer customers in the Middle East an unprecedented blend of legendary performance, advanced technology, and electric efficiency, built to withstand the region's harshest realities.
