Lincoln, Tribeca Film Festival Collaborate on app that Showcases Exclusive Sinatra Tribute

DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 3, 2015 – In its second year as signature sponsor of the Tribeca Film Festival and ongoing supporter of the arts, Lincoln collaborated with TFF and IM360 Entertainment to capture a special tribute concert honoring Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday.

The unique concert experience was an exclusive ticketed event, which took place on April 21 at Spring Studios in New York. Filmed using 360-degree technology, select performances are now available through a free custom app called “TFF: Sinatra at 100.” The app is available via the App Store and Google Play on IOS and Android platforms for mobile and tablet devices. The performances include reimagined Sinatra classics, such as “Luck Be A Lady” and “New York, New York,” sung by Brandon Flowers, NE-YO, Lea DeLaria and Alice Smith. Viewers are now able to enjoy these one-of-a-kind Sinatra performances, as well as behind-the-scenes footage, while experiencing Lincoln through exclusive video content featuring its Lincoln Black Label vehicles, the brand’s highest expression of luxury.

“This free app serves as an example of Lincoln’s commitment to personal service, giving viewers the luxury of choosing when and where they enjoy the performance,” said John Emmert, Lincoln group marketing manager. “Viewers will feel like they are experiencing the Sinatra tribute first-hand, creating a personalized experience from the comfort of their home — a key piece of the Lincoln Black Label experience.”

The 360-degree content can be optimally viewed using a virtual reality headset compatible with smartphone. Select 360-degree content from TFF: Sinatra at 100 will also be available on Lincoln’s YouTube channel, as well as YouTube’s main 360 channel starting today, August 3.

The Lincoln collaboration with TFF and IM360 Entertainment to bring this experience to viewers everywhere is a natural progression of its commitment to innovative storytelling that began nearly three years ago. Since then, the brand has played in new, innovative territory for content creation and distribution.
