Carlos Treadway is the Executive Vice President International for Ford Credit, the financial services arm of Ford Motor Company, and a board member of both FCE Bank plc and Ford Credit South Africa and Chair of both Ford Automotive Finance China and Ford Bank Germany.

In this role, Carlos oversees Ford Credit’s operations in Europe and South Africa as well as third-party partnerships in international markets where Ford Credit does not operate directly itself. He is focused on delivering operational efficiency and strong risk management alongside lifetime customer relationships, supporting Ford’s dealer network, integrated go-to-market strategies and innovative financing solutions to support Ford’s electrification plans.

Carlos joined Ford Credit in 1994 as a customer services representative in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since then, he has enjoyed a broad and global career, moving to the UK in 2021 to become CEO of Ford Credit Europe. Prior to this, he was Vice President for Ford Credit’s North American Business Centre Operations and also spent close to seven years in China as President of Ford Automotive Finance China, Regional Operations Director, and Business Development Manager for Ford Credit Asia Pacific.
