Amy Marentic is currently the Director of Marketing, Brand, and Consumer Experience for Ford Autonomous Vehicles LLC. She was appointed to this position in August of 2018.
Prior to her current assignment, Marentic was President of Lincoln Asia Pacific responsible for all aspects of the Lincoln automotive business in Asia including product and business strategy, marketing, sales, service and dealer network strategy. In 2016, Lincoln was the fastest growing Luxury Brand in China.
Prior to that assignment, Marentic was the Regional Sales Manager for the Detroit Region, the Country’s largest sales region representing over 140,000 retail sales and over $4 Billion in revenue. Amy managed all Ford Brand business including sales, revenue, incentive strategy, advertising, and franchising activities for over 170 Ford Dealers. Amy was also a member of three Dealer Advertising Board of Directors.
Prior to that assignment, Marentic was the Group Marketing Manager, Global Cars and Crossovers. She combined a background in engineering with more than a decade of experience in product strategy and marketing to help deliver a new generation of Ford vehicles to customers. She had responsibility for the marketing of Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Escape, EVs, and the ST and RS performance brands.
Prior to that assignment, Marentic was Ford's Large Car and Utility Product Planning Manager where she was responsible for developing desirable products with high quality, exceptional safety and greater efficiency than ever before. Vehicles like the Ford Mustang, the 662hp Mustang GT500, Ford Explorer, Ford’s Police Strategy, and Ford's first EcoBoost engine.
Amy previously held a variety of marketing, strategy, sales and engineering positions in North America as well as a global assignment as the Brand Manager for the Ford Transit Commercial vehicle.
Marentic holds a Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Masters degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Amy is married with three children. Growing up in Michigan, Marentic’s first car was a 1977 Mustang. During college, she aspired to be an astronaut which translated into a passion for fast cars. In 2014 she was awarded the Detroit Free Press Automotive Leadership Award for Marketing and Advertising. During her free time, Amy teaches and practices Yoga.
