Jeff Lemmer

Jeff Lemmer was appointed vice president and chief information officer of Ford Motor Company in 2018. He is responsible for managing IT services for the company globally, and leading Ford’s technology strategy, business applications, architecture, data centers, engineering and infrastructure services. Reporting to Jim Farley, Ford CEO, Lemmer plays a key role in overseeing global IT operations during the company’s ongoing transformation to become the world’s most trusted company. 

In his 33-year Ford career, Lemmer has served Ford in a variety of leadership positions in IT, including most recently as the vice president and chief operating officer of Information Technology, where he led the development of automotive-related applications and ran day-to-day operations. In this role, he led the design and construction of two new data centers and the transformation of the IT organization to a product-driven organization, reflecting the best practice of world-class software companies.

Lemmer previously was director of Ford’s IT Operations from 2015 to 2017; executive vice president at Ford Credit from 2011 to 2014; and director of Ford’s IT Global Service Delivery from 2007 to 2011.

A graduate of Lawrence Technological University, Lemmer holds a bachelor’s degree in math and computer science.
