Kiersten Robinson is general manager, Family Vehicles, and president, Mexico and Canada for Ford Blue, the global business unit that includes the company’s iconic internal combustion vehicles, including the popular Explorer, Expedition and Everest SUVs. She was appointed to these roles in May 2022 and reports to Kumar Galhotra, president, Ford Blue.

Prior to these roles, Robinson was Ford’s senior Human Resources officer from April 2018 to May 2022. She led development, alignment and applications of Ford’s strategic enterprise capabilities through strong, diverse teams in support of the business priorities and progressive employee and workplace experiences.

Robinson joined the company in 1995 as a labor relations representative in Australia, her home country.  A series of Ford HR leadership assignments in Asia Pacific and Europe preceded a move to the company’s headquarters in Dearborn, Mich., in the U.S. in 2002.

She was made head of Human Resources for Asia Pacific and Africa in 2010, before being appointed HR lead for the Americas in 2016 Responsibility for global markets was added in early 2017.  Robinson’s appointment as Ford’s global HR head in 2018 preceded an expanded role, as chief people and employee experiences officer, beginning in October 2020.

Robinson lives in Michigan with her husband and two children.
