· Ford Ranger variants with a drop-in bedliner include moulded slots for DIY dividers
· DIY dividers allow owners to create multiple storage zones in Ranger’s load box whether they’re using it for work, family or play
· Ranger’s tailgate can be used as a workbench to measure, clamp and cut the DIY wooden dividers
BANGKOK, Thailand, 30 April, 2024 – The Ford Ranger has been built to help you get more out of life, whether you’re on the worksite, the campsite, or the school run. It’s full of smart features and ingenious design, like a drop-in bedliner1 on selected Ford Ranger variants that allows you to create partitions in the load box.
“Specially moulded slots in the drop-in bedliner allow owners to make their own wooden partitions and segment Ranger’s load box to create multiple storage zones,” said Tim Cleary, manager – body structural systems and closures, Ford Australia.
“Whether you’re trying to keep your groceries in place, or your camping gear organised when heading away for the weekend, it’s easy to segment Ranger’s load box by measuring, cutting and fitting wooden partitions.”
Use Ranger’s tailgate as a work bench by using the two integrated clamp pockets to secure the timber while cutting.
Being able to create storage zones in Ranger’s load box means you can keep things exactly where you want them, making them easier to reach when needed. They’re also less likely to become damaged or damage your vehicle because they’re not rolling around.
“With Ranger used for work, family and play we felt it was important to make it as easy as possible to create storage zones in Ranger,” said Cleary. “Instead of it just being one big open tub, Ranger’s load box can be customised as a multi-purpose, multi-zone space.”
