Eliane Okamura is chief financial officer, treasurer and executive vice president of Strategy for Ford Motor Credit Company, effective Dec. 1, 2022. She is responsible for Ford Credit financial planning, analysis, accounting and capital strategy.

Okamura works closely with Ford Motor Company Treasury team on funding and liquidity initiatives and maintains relationships with financial analysts and rating agencies. Okamura previously was director of automotive strategy, risk and agile finance for Ford Treasury.

She joined Ford in 1995 in Brazil and has held a variety of financial positions in Brazil and the United States including treasurer of Ford South America. She has been controller of several key product development teams, including North America trucks and Global Powertrain.

Okamura holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil and a master’s in business administration from Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais (IBMEC).
