Hundreds of Ford Volunteer Corps members across the U.S. are digging into community environmental projects today, part of a Ford Motor Company Accelerated Action Day aimed at building stronger communities on World Environment Day.
Ford Motor Company Fund is sponsoring an Honor Flight to transport Louisville area veterans to the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. The World War II Honor Flight veterans – all in their eighties and nineties – will be greeted at the national memorial by members of Congress and Ford employees.

Given the chance to be software designers, 100 middle school students at the Ford STEAM Lab Hackathon invented a range of mobile applications to make learning easier, from catching up on missed assignments, to studying math and music through gaming – all the while earning $42,500 in awards and scholarships.
