Ford Motor Company is issuing two safety recalls, two safety compliance recalls and expands a recall in North America.

– A new and expanded fleet of Ford SUVs will be doing the heavy hauling when the 91st edition of America’s Thanksgiving Parade - one of Ford Motor Company’s signature community events - rolls along Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit.

Ford sales increased 6.2 percent last month, with 200,436 vehicles sold. According to Eric Merkle, Ford Sales analyst, retail performance was up 3.5 percent versus a year ago, with trucks and SUVs leading the way.

Ford is aware that some 2011-17 Explorer owners have concerns about exhaust or carbon monoxide. These vehicles are safe.

Ford Motor Company’s U.S. sales totaled 209,897 vehicles for August, a decline of 2.1 percent. With us to explain is Ford Sales analyst, Erich Merkle.

Ford Motor Company’s June U.S. sales totaled 227,979 vehicles – down 5.1 percent compared to last year.

Customers drove a record 406,464 Ford brand SUV sales in the first half of this year, with Explorer sales increasing 23 percent in June. F-Series continues expanding its sales and share this year, with customers opting for high-series pickups and investing in class-exclusive features that only Ford trucks offer.
