Improved availability helped make August the strongest sales month this year for F-Series. Ford also had their best month of Ford SUV sales in 12 years.

Cut#2 ”We just had a really good month on F-Series. We sold over the 70 thousand vehicle mark with 71,332 F-Series pick-up trucks sold, so we’re really starting to see the benefits from the Kansas City plant ramping up and also from improved inventory.” :19 sec.

Lincoln sales for the month of August were up six percent,  including Navigator and the Lincoln MKC.

Cut#7 ”Now we estimate that the overall Luxury segment might have been off a bit, in the month of August, so we actually performed very well with Lincoln, given a really tough backdrop       in the Luxury segment.  Really to do that it was our newest products, things like the Navigator which was up 79 percent, just an incredible move for Navigator and MKC sales     increased 37 percent.  Our newest products especially on the SUV side, just really performing well for Lincoln right now.” :30 sec.
