Ford Hires Lynn Antipas Tyson To Lead Investor Relations

DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 2, 2017 – Ford today names Lynn Antipas Tyson as executive director, Investor Relations. Tyson brings with her three decades of extensive finance and strategic communications experience, including 23 years in investor relations, serving in senior level positions at PepsiCo, Dell and other leading companies.

In this role, Tyson will be responsible for leading all of Ford’s investor relations initiatives, including representing the company to equity and fixed income investors and rating agencies, providing strategic counsel to support value creation, strategic input and risk mitigation.

Effective Oct. 1, Tyson succeeds Ted Cannis, previously executive director, Investor Relations, who has been named Global Director, Electrification. In this role, Cannis is responsible for leading the company’s overall battery electric vehicle strategy, including new business models and cycle plan.

Tyson comes to Ford from Atento, where she represented the Latin America-based company serving as vice president, Investor Relations, out of New York. Prior to Atento, Tyson was vice president, Investor Relations, at CHC Helicopters, playing a lead role in the company's initial public offering and building the company's investor relations program.

While at PepsiCo Inc., she served as senior vice president, Investor Relations. Tyson also held senior roles in in treasury, capital markets and international corporate finance. She was responsible for investor relations on behalf of YUM! Brands Inc. during and after its spin-off from PepsiCo.

She also spent 10 years at Dell Inc., leading both investor relations and global corporate communications, and served as senior vice president, Investor Relations, for AECOM.

Tyson holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the City College of New York and an MBA in Finance and International business from the Stern School of Business at New York University.  She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), serving as a board member from 2004 to 2008.
